A sixth victim connected to the serial killer operating under the pseudonym 'Ted Cruz' was discovered Monday morning in Gnu Harbor, near the western pier, bringing the total death toll attributed to the killer to six since the first body was found in February. The New Newmanton Police Department confirmed the connection at a press conference Monday afternoon, noting that the case now qualifies as the island's deadliest active serial killing since the founding era, a distinction the department said it was not treating as a milestone.
INVESTIGATION UPDATE
Detective Superintendent Brenda Kowalski, who is leading the investigation, told reporters that the name 'Ted Cruz' coule be 'literally anybody', and the investigation is 'exploring every avenue until this most likely odious, chinless man is ripped from his podcast studio and brought to justice'.
ONGOING ASSESSMENTS
The sixth victim has not been publicly identified pending notification of next of kin. Kowalski said investigators were asking any member of the public with information about 'Ted Cruz' to contact the department directly, because, according to Kowalski, 'this guy must be a real piece of shit'.
